George Hardcastle was a man whose downfall was his love for dog. He could not resist petting a dog or even seeking them out. However, in Greensand Hills there is a specific region named Clandon Down where rumors state it is a hiding spot for unspeakable and invisible figures. George did not know of the knowledge surrounding this region. George continues his walk when he suddenly he stops because he heard what appeared to be a dog howling. He trails towards where he believes the howl but fails to notice specific signs that could lead to superstitious tales. George failed to notice a full moon was going to be out and does not heed that warning. When George gets closer to what he believes is a dog he hears a growl after the howl. George does not take this as a warning when he hears the growl. George now being in 15 minutes into the English woods is lost fear now setting in. When George starts finding his way back he hears the growl again he makes a run for it. As he runs he hears the creature growling and whining he then suddenly feels a sharp burning pain in his right thigh. The pain is to much that it results in George passing out which he later gains conscious an hour later.

After George wakes up he tries to remember what happens and why he is in the woods. Once the memory hits him he shakes in fear. When he gets up its night time and he sees a dead body a few feet away. When he takes a closer look at the dead body he notices the man is somewhere in his mid-life. He had a long mustache and yellow teeth that were formed into a grin with a purple faces it seemed the man died of a heart attack George believes. George for the next hour drags himself underneath bushes which so happens to be next to a main road. The next morning a team of boy scouts find him which leads to police and volunteers searching the woods for this beast. They did not find the beast however, they did find the body of the man and identify him as a farm worker who was usually solitary. The autopsy reveals that he died of a heart attack which might have been the result of the man trying to assist George when he was injured.

Mrs. Hardcastle took pride in being a mother which is why she took care of George and had him out of the house in just three weeks. One day on one of his walks George came upon Hampton Court he took a tour of the court in which he landed in the room called the Queen's Audience Room. As he sat down in one of the window seats his attention was on the yard when someone catches his eye. Entering the Queen's Audience Room a young woman enters wearing a black dress. The young woman had black hair and had white skin when she walks closer he can see a sadness in her large black eyes. The girl introduces herself as Carola when she notices that George just continues to stare at her she becomes witty. George replies back with the same witty responses. Carola and George converse but he notices that certain topics upset her which leads to his confusion. When Carola talks about having certain family connections this confuses George. When George talks about how lovely the sun is and how it should be out. Carola says how he is rude and wants to frighten her. Carola says how would he like it if she said complimented silver bullets. George walks away from the conversation but later on Carola says she is sorry for being rude about what he said to which George apologizes as well.

Carola takes him home to meet her family in which she has a frightening moment that the sun might come out. As they reach her parents house George sees the front door open to reveal a plump grey haired women. This women is revealed to be Carola mom in which she has the same white skin as her daughter. At first Carola mother is afraid of George until Carola whispers into her ear a secret which changes her demeanor. Then Carola mother calls in her husband to come meet George and out comes Carola father to meet George with Carola saying he is fine. Carola mother ask George if he has eaten in which she talks about how young doggies like him don't watch their diet and eat meat. Once George gets his meal he notices that the family is drinking something from a jug that is thick and red with straws. Carola father replies to them that was the best AB ever given to him. George makes the mistake of asking do they ever eat which sets everyone in the family off in which they later forgive him. Once the family realizes George does not know of his condition they decided to tell him. Carola Father tells him that his father didn't have to tell him of his vampire heritage. Carola Father tells him that he is a werewolf discretely but it is enough to send George running out the house.

The moon is days away from becoming a full moon and George is starting to feel weird. He is awake at night and tends to take more walks. He starts to howl and enjoy the moon his behavior is being noticed by some people. His mother asked him why he was caught growling at the neighbors dog. One night George thinks he dreamed about his hand being covered in hair and him having claws instead of nails. George returns to Carola home to discuss his problem. The family explains that he will always be a werewolf until the moon leaves or he is killed this is his new self. The family talks about the differences between vampires and werewolves they also warn him about religious artifacts. The next day George tells his mother he is moving out . George moved into a cottage at the edge of the church yard and soon afterwards his wedding took place at the registers office. A beautiful reception was given in where cake was provided to those who could eat it. Finally the couple left with Carola mother and father throwing coffin nails after their hearse.

Reverend John Cole had a nose for sniffing out evil among the town. He had his eye set on proving that George and Carola were evil based on them living outside of the community. One day Reverend John invites Carola to a young wives alter committee in which results in Carola turning grey for she was asked to read from the Holy Script of the Bible. When the Reverend accidentally dropped his cross on Carola she screamed in pain and fainted. George having heard of what the Reverend did to his wife Carola confronts him. George threatens him to leave them alone for good measure him and Carola attack the Reverend along with his wife to scare them. The day after the Reverend gives a speech on the evil among them and asked for help to fight it. Every one ignored his ramblings all except Willie Mitcham. Willie Mitcham since the age of 12 had immersed himself in learning everything supernatural.

One morning in March the cottage where George and Carola gained another resident living with them. The first werevamp baby was born and it had the teeth like a vampire instead of crying it hissed like a cobra. George says the baby will be a vampire like Carola but Carola says not necessarily since once the full moon is out he will have talons and a tail which happened. One day Reverend John pays Carola and George home a visit expecting them to be there. However, Carola was busy visiting Reverend John wife and George was chasing a disturbed sheep. Reverend John fights off George and Carola child as it bites him trying to take his blood. Reverend John is found tangled in a bush in which Willie goes to help they form a plan on how to kill the evil in the cottage. Willie gets silver bullets and a tent peg along with a hammer to kill the evil. Willie and John arrive at the house to which Carola is found alone they ask her were her child is she responds at her parents house. Reverend John felt thrill when Carola feared them knowing her fate was sealed. They laid her on a table and start to stake here were they hear the snap of the rib cage then finally she was killed before she died she bit Reverend John. George comes in and sees his wife body without any signs of life in which he attacks the Reverend. Willie shoots George with silver bullets ending the nightmare of evil.

Reverend John gets put into a house that had a beautiful garden and a quiet area. Willie was placed into a juvenile home to get a better life than his parents offered. George and Carola were buried in the church yard and given a great eulogy. Willie left warning of Reverend John and no one listen to him . Two men went to the new home of Reverend John as they entered one dropped dead of fear while the other lost his mind becoming insane.

Reverend John was bitten by a werevamp baby, nipped by a female vampire, and clawed and bitten by a werewolf. As the story says only God and the one below knew what Reverend John had become.
